Metropolitan Atlanta’s Fulton County Airport, known locally as Charlie Brown, located on Fulton Industrial Boulevard, just off of I-20, is the closest airport to Hartsfield-Jackson International. This 600-acre general aviation facility, 20 miles from Fairburn, has three active runways and is used by many domestic and international corporate aircraft as well as by state and federal government aircraft.

By rail, CSX Intermodal provides transportation service access to the entire United States via the CSX rail network and the Fairburn terminal is a key connection. The Fairburn terminal performs hundreds of thousands of lifts annually of containers from China, Korea, Italy and other global locations. Products handled are coal, automobiles, agricultural products, paper, and other merchandise.
